Peter Chin is a true Renaissance man of the arts.

William Lau has developed and promoted the richness of Chinese dance and opera to a wide range of audiences nationally and internationally as well as training and mentoring of a new generation of Chinese-Canadian dance artists. A refined performer and passionate cultural worker, he specializes in the Dan (female roles) in Peking opera.
Hari Krishnan is a Bessie (NYC) and Dora (Toronto) Award nominated dance artist, scholar and teacher. He is artistic director of Toronto-based company inDANCE and is also Associate Professor of Dance in the Department of Dance at Wesleyan University. Krishnan's research areas include queer identities in dance performance, contemporary dance from global perspectives, colonialism, post-colonialism and Indian dance, Bharatanatyam in Tamil cinema and the history of courtesan dance traditions in South India.
Alvin Erasga Tolentino contributes three decades of dance to Vancouver. An exceptional soloist, his work has garnered international acclaim in Asia, South America and Europe for its riveting context of dance that challenges cross cultural, identity and gender.

The artists of Undivided Colours reunite for a spring Canadian tour! Together in an evening-length work, Peter Chin (Toronto), Hari Krishnan (Toronto), William Lau (Ottawa), and Alvin Erasga Tolentino (Vancouver), showcase their varied and rich dance heritages, including Peking Opera and Indian Classical dance, among others. The originality of these multicultural practices explores identity through contemporary voices, transcending the complexity of gender and the search for the third space, duality and spirituality.
