Jericho Beach Park is located in the City of Vancouver, on 4th Avenue West, just west of Alma Street. TAKE THE BUS If possible, use public transportation. The #4 UBC travels towards Jericho Beach Park along 4th avenue. Exit the bus on the 4000 Block stop, and walk. From Downtown Estimated: 30 minutes Catch the #4 UBC going down HOWE STREET, one block west of GRANVILLE STREET From Around Vancouver The #7 DUNBAR bus stops at the corner of 4th AVENUE and ALMA STREET, about 2 and 1/2 blocks from the East Gate entrance. You can also catch the #22 MACDONALD bus along PENDER STREET and BURRARD STREET downtown, or along CORNWALL AVENUE. Transfer to the #4 UBC or the #7 DUNBAR at 4th and MACDONALD STREET, ride west [if you’re facing the mountains, which is north, west is to your left]. For more bus route information, please go to the BC Translink website and use “Trip Planner” to find a convenient route. PARK YOUR PEDALS at a Bicycle Parking Lot We proudly provide bicycle parking in two supervised lots for only $2 per bike per day. Lots are located close to West 4th Avenue near the East Gate and near the West Gate. We do not offer a bike-valet service; rather, we operate using a ticket exchange system, much like that at a coat-check. Bikes are not permitted on the Festival site and should not be locked to the perimeter fence surrounding the Festival. IF YOU MUST DRIVE Please come early if you intend to drive. You may be able to find parking on side streets, but please respect the No Stopping and Resident Only parking signs in the neighbourhood. You will be ticketed, maybe even towed! There is pay parking at the Jericho Sailing Club and limited space at the Jericho Hill Centre, located at 4196 West 4th Avenue. The Festival is not responsible for any parking fines or cost of towing of anyone attending the festival. If you are driving, please sign up for the Vancouver Folk Music Festival Pick-up Pal. This is a group made for anyone who would like to share a ride to the Festival at Jericho Beach Park. Carpooling is a great way to save on gas money and carbon emissions made from driving your own vehicle. Because there is limited parking at the Festival, this option is encouraged for drivers to maximize efficient car use! We still highly encourage people to use public transportation and bikes, as parking space is very limited. Driving Directions From downtown Vancouver: Drive on Georgia Street northbound, towards Stanley Park in the right hand lane. As you enter Stanley Park, you will come up to a round-about. Drive straight through the roundabout, past the Rose Garden sign and take the first right. Theatre signage will be directly in front of you. Continue along past The Stanley Park Dining Pavilion for parking in front of the Children's Zoo. Driving from the North Shore: Come over the Lions Gate Bridge, pass through Stanley Park and turn around at Denman Street.

Parking Christmas Train (former Children's Zoo) Parking: From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive past the turn off to Malkin Bowl on your right and the Horse Barn Parking Lot on your left. Take the next right hand turn into the Children’s Zoo Parking Lot. Horse Barn Parking: From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive past the turn off to Malkin Bowl on your right. Take the next left hand turn into the Horse Barn Parking Lot. Stanley Park Drive Parking: From the round-about take the first right hand exit onto Stanley Park Drive and carry on 100m. Take the next left hand turn into the Stanley Park Dr. Parking Lot. Special Needs Drop-off & Parking From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive approximately 100 meters and take your first right toward Malkin Bowl. This will take you the drop off point for Malkin Bowl and special needs parking. From the drop off point you can carry on to the Children’s Zoo Parking Lot. Park and proceed to the back of the building where you will see a sidewalk. Follow the sidewalk until you come to another Studio 58 sandwich board. Turn right and you will go through crashdoors into the lobby. IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE (2012/2013 season): 'Resident Only' parking is now in effect between 44th Avenue and 56th Avenue and from Cambie Street to Main Street.
