The Annex is located next to the The Orpheum on Seymour Street, on the 2nd floor. ACCESSIBILITY Limited Wheelchair seating can be booked in advance. Elevator access is from the Seymour Street entrance to the lobby on the main level and gallery level BABES IN ARMS Vancouver Civic Theatres requires that all audience members, including children, must have a ticket. There are no exemptions to this policy regardless of the child's age. If you bring young children to a performance, please be respectful of other patrons by encouraging them to observe proper theatre etiquette such as sitting still and not talking during the performance. If children become restless during the performance, you may be asked to take them into the lobby. PARKING Parking near the theatre is limited. There is no parkade attached to the Annex, but there is parking in the neighbourhood, at meters, and public parking lots. There are two EasyPark lots located on Richards at Smithe Street. TRANSIT The Orpheum is two blocks south of the Vancouver City Centre Canada Line Station on West Georgia Street. Downtown bus routes also stop on Granville Street. Visit for directions.

You will find the Firehall Arts Centre at the corner of Cordova St. and Gore Ave., Vancouver, British Columbia. The Firehall is just east of Main St., right beside the Vancouver Police Museum and immediately north of Vancouver's Historic Chinatown district with it's many interesting Chinese restaurants and stores. If you are driving, there is metered parking on both Cordova St. and Gore St. after 6:00 pm, free after 8:00pm. Driving Directions From downtown Vancouver: Drive on Georgia Street northbound, towards Stanley Park in the right hand lane. As you enter Stanley Park, you will come up to a round-about. Drive straight through the roundabout, past the Rose Garden sign and take the first right. Theatre signage will be directly in front of you. Continue along past The Stanley Park Dining Pavilion for parking in front of the Children's Zoo. Driving from the North Shore: Come over the Lions Gate Bridge, pass through Stanley Park and turn around at Denman Street.

Parking Christmas Train (former Children's Zoo) Parking: From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive past the turn off to Malkin Bowl on your right and the Horse Barn Parking Lot on your left. Take the next right hand turn into the Children’s Zoo Parking Lot. Public Transit Instructions: BUS: There are 2 bus stops located near Presentation House Theatre at the corner of Third Street and Chesterfield Avenue. They are serviced by the #239 Park Royal and #246 Highlands coming from the Seabus at Lonsdale Quay and #239 Cap College and #246 Lonsdale Quay going to the Seabus. SEABUS: The SeaBus runs every 30 minutes until Midnight on weekdays, and 11:00 on Sundays and Holidays. For 8pm shows it is important that you are on the 7:15pm SeaBus leaving Vancouver, the next SeaBus at 7:45pm will get you here late for the show and you will NOT be admitted! Driving Instructions: From 1st Narrows Bridge (Lions Gate): -Take Georgia Street through downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park to the Lions Gate Bridge. -Take the 1st exit off of the Lions Gate Bridge into North Vancouver, this will put you on Marine Drive. -Keep on Marine Drive for a while, you will eventually pass Capilano Mall on your right. -A few blocks after the Mall you will come to an intersection where the road splits into Keith Road and Third Street on either side of a Chevron Station. -Stay in the right lanes to go onto Third Street. -Once on Third Street, get into the left lane. -In a few blocks you will come to Chesterfield Avenue, the corner with the 7-11 and Esso Station. -Turn left up the hill and left into our parking lot. From 2nd Narrows Bridge (Ironworkers Memorial): -Get in the right hand lane coming across the bridge, follow this lane when it exits at the 2nd exit after the bridge, it will take you around and under the bridge heading west on Main Street. -Stay in the right lane, you will drive through a small commercial area. Just past the Rona the road will split into Lower Road and Third Street, take Third Street up the hill. -Continue along Third Street, eventually you will cross Lonsdale Avenue, Chesterfield Avenue is the next block. -Turn right up the hill, and left into our parking lot. BY CAR, either park on 49th Avenue directly in front of the campus or proceed south on Ontario Street, off 49th Avenue, and turn right into the 3rd driveway (where there should be a Studio 58 sandwich board). Park and proceed to the back of the building where you will see a sidewalk. Follow the sidewalk until you come to another Studio 58 sandwich board. Turn right and you will go through crashdoors into the lobby. IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE (2012/2013 season): 'Resident Only' parking is now in effect between 44th Avenue and 56th Avenue and from Cambie Street to Main Street. If you park on these streets, your vehicle may be ticketed and towed. BY BUS, from downtown Vancouver take the Canada Line to Langara - 49th Station and then walk three short blocks east.
