The Annex is located next to the The Orpheum on Seymour Street, on the 2nd floor. ACCESSIBILITY Limited Wheelchair seating can be booked in advance. Elevator access is from the Seymour Street entrance to the lobby on the main level and gallery level BABES IN ARMS Vancouver Civic Theatres requires that all audience members, including children, must have a ticket. There are no exemptions to this policy regardless of the child's age. If you bring young children to a performance, please be respectful of other patrons by encouraging them to observe proper theatre etiquette such as sitting still and not talking during the performance. If children become restless during the performance, you may be asked to take them into the lobby. PARKING Parking near the theatre is limited. There is no parkade attached to the Annex, but there is parking in the neighbourhood, at meters, and public parking lots. There are two EasyPark lots located on Richards at Smithe Street. TRANSIT The Orpheum is two blocks south of the Vancouver City Centre Canada Line Station on West Georgia Street. Downtown bus routes also stop on Granville Street. The C20 starts at the UBC bus loop and stops behind the Chan Centre on Marine Drive, running approximately once every 30 minutes. Please call TransLink at 604.953.3333 for specific information, or visit www.translink.bc.ca From downtown, the #4 or #14 bus southbound on Granville Street arrive at the bus loop, as does the #99 from Broadway. UBC diesel buses arrive at the North Bus Loop, located at 1950 Wesbrook Mall adjacent to the UBC General Services Administration Building . UBC trolley buses arrive at the Trolley Terminal in front of the War Memorial Gym on University Boulevard at Wesbrook Mall. It is a ten-minute walk to and from the Chan Centre: for on campus directions, please visit www.maps.ubc.ca. DRIVING: From downtown, proceed west on West Fourth Avenue, which becomes Chancellor Blvd and then merges with NW Marine Drive. Continue west on NW Marine Drive, to the Rose Garden Parkade (on your left). The Chan Centre is visible above, on your left. From the airport, proceed to SW Marine Drive. Stay on SW Marine Drive, which eventually merges with NW Marine Drive. Continue just past the Museum of Anthropology (on your left) to the Rose Garden Parkade (on your right). Public Transit Instructions: BUS: There are 2 bus stops located near Presentation House Theatre at the corner of Third Street and Chesterfield Avenue. They are serviced by the #239 Park Royal and #246 Highlands coming from the Seabus at Lonsdale Quay and #239 Cap College and #246 Lonsdale Quay going to the Seabus. SEABUS: The SeaBus runs every 30 minutes until Midnight on weekdays, and 11:00 on Sundays and Holidays. For 8pm shows it is important that you are on the 7:15pm SeaBus leaving Vancouver, the next SeaBus at 7:45pm will get you here late for the show and you will NOT be admitted! Driving Instructions: From 1st Narrows Bridge (Lions Gate): -Take Georgia Street through downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park to the Lions Gate Bridge. -Take the 1st exit off of the Lions Gate Bridge into North Vancouver, this will put you on Marine Drive. -Keep on Marine Drive for a while, you will eventually pass Capilano Mall on your right. -A few blocks after the Mall you will come to an intersection where the road splits into Keith Road and Third Street on either side of a Chevron Station. -Stay in the right lanes to go onto Third Street. -Once on Third Street, get into the left lane. -In a few blocks you will come to Chesterfield Avenue, the corner with the 7-11 and Esso Station. -Turn left up the hill and left into our parking lot. From 2nd Narrows Bridge (Ironworkers Memorial): -Get in the right hand lane coming across the bridge, follow this lane when it exits at the 2nd exit after the bridge, it will take you around and under the bridge heading west on Main Street. -Stay in the right lane, you will drive through a small commercial area. Just past the Rona the road will split into Lower Road and Third Street, take Third Street up the hill. -Continue along Third Street, eventually you will cross Lonsdale Avenue, Chesterfield Avenue is the next block. -Turn right up the hill, and left into our parking lot. Additional parking is available on Chesterfield Avenue and Fourth Street.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING Accessible parking is available at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre parkade with an accessible parking decal. To reserve accessible parking, call 604-665-2193 during the week, at least 24 hours before your event. Have your decal number and ticket information ready when you make your call. An elevator operates from both floors of the parkade to the Plaza Level on Hamilton Street. Limited spaces available: first come, first served. TRANSIT The Stadium Skytrain Station is one block east of the theatre. The Vancouver City Centre Canada Line Station is five blocks west of the theatre. Several downtown bus routes run close by.
