The Annex is located next to the The Orpheum on Seymour Street, on the 2nd floor. ACCESSIBILITY Limited Wheelchair seating can be booked in advance. Elevator access is from the Seymour Street entrance to the lobby on the main level and gallery level BABES IN ARMS Vancouver Civic Theatres requires that all audience members, including children, must have a ticket. There are no exemptions to this policy regardless of the child's age. If you bring young children to a performance, please be respectful of other patrons by encouraging them to observe proper theatre etiquette such as sitting still and not talking during the performance. If children become restless during the performance, you may be asked to take them into the lobby. PARKING Parking near the theatre is limited. There is no parkade attached to the Annex, but there is parking in the neighbourhood, at meters, and public parking lots. There are two EasyPark lots located on Richards at Smithe Street. TRANSIT The Orpheum is two blocks south of the Vancouver City Centre Canada Line Station on West Georgia Street. Downtown bus routes also stop on Granville Street. The C20 starts at the UBC bus loop and stops behind the Chan Centre on Marine Drive, running approximately once every 30 minutes. Please call TransLink at 604.953.3333 for specific information, or visit www.translink.bc.ca From downtown, the #4 or #14 bus southbound on Granville Street arrive at the bus loop, as does the #99 from Broadway. UBC diesel buses arrive at the North Bus Loop, located at 1950 Wesbrook Mall adjacent to the UBC General Services Administration Building . UBC trolley buses arrive at the Trolley Terminal in front of the War Memorial Gym on University Boulevard at Wesbrook Mall. It is a ten-minute walk to and from the Chan Centre: for on campus directions, please visit www.maps.ubc.ca. DRIVING: From downtown, proceed west on West Fourth Avenue, which becomes Chancellor Blvd and then merges with NW Marine Drive. Continue west on NW Marine Drive, to the Rose Garden Parkade (on your left). The Chan Centre is visible above, on your left. From the airport, proceed to SW Marine Drive. Stay on SW Marine Drive, which eventually merges with NW Marine Drive. Continue just past the Museum of Anthropology (on your left) to the Rose Garden Parkade (on your right). To reach Granville Island from downtown, take the #50 (False Creek South) bus southbound. Location: Granville Island Stage is located right next to the Public Market and close to the Aquabus docks. At Granville Island, parking is free for a three-hour interval during the day and is unrestricted after 7 pm. There are pay parking stalls on the island for longer periods or when free parking is unavailable. Restaurants: The Backstage Lounge is part of the Arts Club theatre and is attached to the Granville Island Stage. Live music after 10:00pm.

Driving Directions From downtown Vancouver: Drive on Georgia Street northbound, towards Stanley Park in the right hand lane. As you enter Stanley Park, you will come up to a round-about. Drive straight through the roundabout, past the Rose Garden sign and take the first right. Theatre signage will be directly in front of you. Continue along past The Stanley Park Dining Pavilion for parking in front of the Children's Zoo. Driving from the North Shore: Come over the Lions Gate Bridge, pass through Stanley Park and turn around at Denman Street. 
Head back towards Stanley Park and follow the above directions. Parking Christmas Train (former Children's Zoo) Parking: From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive past the turn off to Malkin Bowl on your right and the Horse Barn Parking Lot on your left. Take the next right hand turn into the Children’s Zoo Parking Lot. Horse Barn Parking: From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive past the turn off to Malkin Bowl on your right. Take the next left hand turn into the Horse Barn Parking Lot. Stanley Park Drive Parking: From the round-about take the first right hand exit onto Stanley Park Drive and carry on 100m. Take the next left hand turn into the Stanley Park Dr. Parking Lot. Special Needs Drop-off & Parking From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive approximately 100 meters and take your first right toward Malkin Bowl. This will take you the drop off point for Malkin Bowl and special needs parking. From the drop off point you can carry on to the Children’s Zoo Parking Lot. Public Transit From downtown Vancouver take the #19 bus to the Stanley Park Loop. Take a short walk south past the Dining Pavilion to Malkin Bowl.

DIRECTIONS: Located on Granville Island. To reach Granville Island from downtown, take the #50 (False Creek South) bus southbound. Performance Works is on the far east end of Granville Island. Enter Granville Island, turn right on Cartwright street, continue on that street till it ends, on the right-hand side is the theatre. It is next to the Granville Island Hotel. DINING: Restaurants on Granville Island include the Granville Island Hotel, the Keg, Bridges, Sammy J Peppers, and the Cat's Meow. The Granville Island Public Market is open till 7 pm nightly. ABOUT: Originally an old machine shop dating back to the 1920's, the Barbara Dalrymple designed Performance Works opened at 1218 Cartwright Street on Granville Island in 1992 with a mandate to provide the arts community with a permanent rehearsal and performance venue. Owned by CMHC - Granville Island, and managed by the Granville Island Cultural Society, Performance Works is now a multifunctional, flexible black box theatre space fully booked year round with some of Vancouver's most exciting performance events and productions.

The Scotiabank Dance Centre is located at the corner of Davie and Granville. PARKING: There is street (metre) parking and lot parking nearby. The Vancouver Playhouse Theatre is located on the southeast corner of Hamilton and Dunsmuir Streets. It is situated next door to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, and one block north of the Vancouver Central Public Library. ACCESSIBILITY Limited wheelchair seating is available on the orchestra level and can be booked online, in person or on the phone. Hearing-assist units and binoculars at available at the main lobby coat check. BABES IN ARMS Vancouver Civic Theatres requires that all audience members, including children, must have a ticket. There are no exemptions to this policy regardless of the child's age. PARKING Parking is available at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre parkade, beneath the theatre itself. The entrance is off of Cambie Street between West Georgia and Dunsmuir Streets. Parking is limited, so arrive early. There are also two EasyPark lots under the VPL and at Cambie and Dunsmir Street. RESERVED PARKING FOR DISABLED PATRONS Accessible parking is available at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre parkade with an accessible parking decal. To reserve accessible parking, call 604-665-2193 during the week, at least 24 hours before your event. Have your decal number and ticket information ready when you make your call. An elevator operates from both floors of the parkade to the Plaza Level on Hamilton Street. Limited spaces available: first come, first served.
