It is between the restaurant and shopping streets of Davie St. and Robson St. ABOUT: Designed by Twizell & Twizell and built of Nelson Island granite & Haddington Island stone, Vancouver's lovely Saint Andrew’s-Wesley Church is located at the corner of Nelson and Burrard in the scenic West End. A designated heritage building, the Church sports a 14th-century-style Gothic tower, a high vaulted nave, deep transepts, and abundant light. Both the traditional leaded glass and the more recent dalle de verre are represented in its magnificent stained glass windows.

Click here for directions: STUDIO 58 is located between Main & Cambie on 49th Avenue in the basement of the Main Building of Langara College. BY CAR, either park on 49th Avenue directly in front of the campus or proceed south on Ontario Street, off 49th Avenue, and turn right into the 3rd driveway (where there should be a Studio 58 sandwich board). Park and proceed to the back of the building where you will see a sidewalk. Follow the sidewalk until you come to another Studio 58 sandwich board. Turn right and you will go through crashdoors into the lobby. IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE (2012/2013 season): 'Resident Only' parking is now in effect between 44th Avenue and 56th Avenue and from Cambie Street to Main Street. If you park on these streets, your vehicle may be ticketed and towed. BY BUS, from downtown Vancouver take the Canada Line to Langara - 49th Station and then walk three short blocks east. From SkyTrain, disembark at Metrotown Station and take the #49 Dunbar/Metrotown, which drops you off in front of Langara College. For additional bus information call 604-953-3333. DINING: The nearby intersection of Main and E.49th Ave. has a variety of East Indian restaurants, buffets, and shopping.

The Vancouver Playhouse Theatre is located on the southeast corner of Hamilton and Dunsmuir Streets. It is situated next door to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, and one block north of the Vancouver Central Public Library. ACCESSIBILITY Limited wheelchair seating is available on the orchestra level and can be booked online, in person or on the phone. Hearing-assist units and binoculars at available at the main lobby coat check. BABES IN ARMS Vancouver Civic Theatres requires that all audience members, including children, must have a ticket. There are no exemptions to this policy regardless of the child's age. PARKING Parking is available at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre parkade, beneath the theatre itself. The entrance is off of Cambie Street between West Georgia and Dunsmuir Streets. Parking is limited, so arrive early. There are also two EasyPark lots under the VPL and at Cambie and Dunsmir Street. RESERVED PARKING FOR DISABLED PATRONS Accessible parking is available at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre parkade with an accessible parking decal. To reserve accessible parking, call 604-665-2193 during the week, at least 24 hours before your event. Have your decal number and ticket information ready when you make your call. An elevator operates from both floors of the parkade to the Plaza Level on Hamilton Street. Limited spaces available: first come, first served. TRANSIT The Stadium Skytrain Station is one block east of the theatre. The Vancouver City Centre Canada Line Station is five blocks west of the theatre. Several downtown bus routes run close by. VanDusen Botanical Garden is located at 5251 Oak Street at West 37th Avenue (north west corner). DRIVING DIRECTIONS: If you are coming into Vancouver on Hwy 99 from the south (Richmond, Ladner, Delta & USA) you should know that Highway 99 becomes Oak Street once you cross the bridge from Richmond into Vancouver. Oak is crossed by consecutively numbered avenues. Proceed north along Oak Street to reach West 37th (about 36 blocks). The last major intersection before you reach VanDusen is at West 41st Avenue. It is controlled with traffic lights in all directions. Proceed straight through the intersection four more blocks north to West 37th. At W.37th there is a pedestrian controlled light, make a left onto W.37th then a sharp right into our parking lot and you're here. If you are driving to VanDusen from downtown Vancouver: Proceed east along Nelson Street onto the Cambie Street Bridge. Once on the other side of the bridge proceed straight on Cambie Street until you reach West 33rd Avenue. It's a major intersection controlled by traffic lights. Turn right onto West 33rd and proceed west along W.33 until you reach Oak Street (about 5 blocks). Turn left onto Oak, proceed south four blocks and turn right onto West 37th, then turn right to enter our parking lot. You're here! If you are driving into Vancouver from the east along Hwy #1: Take the Grandview Highway exit (Grandview eventually becomes 12th Avenue). Travel west and turn left (south) on Oak Street. At West 37th Avenue, turn right (west) and enter the VanDusen Garden parking lot. TRANSIT DIRECTIONS From downtown Vancouver, take #17 Oak bus. You catch it on the east side of Seymour Street. Ask the bus driver to let you off at West 37th Avenue. Once at West 37th Avenue, cross the street and we’re right there. Depending on traffic and where you embark, you should allow 20 minutes once you have boarded the bus.
